About the role
We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team at Johnny's Pizza & Wings Ltd in Airdrie. This part‑time, permanent role supports the kitchen operations during evening, on‑call and weekend shifts, ensuring a clean and efficient environment for food preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Take customers' orders.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
Required profile
- Available for shift or on‑call work.
- Can start on the advertised start date.
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
