Kitchen Helper – Food Service Support

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join our restaurant team. The role involves supporting the kitchen and front‑of‑house operations by maintaining cleanliness, preparing simple dishes, and assisting customers. You will work closely with chefs and wait staff to ensure a smooth service flow in a busy dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs after service.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items according to recipes.
• Take customers’ orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit for daily preparation.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen or food‑service role.
• Ability to work on‑site and follow health‑and‑safety standards.
• Fluent in English or French.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle basic kitchen equipment.
