About the role
The Butter Chicken Co. is seeking a reliable Kitchen Helper to support daily operations in a fast‑paced, rural restaurant environment. No prior experience is required as training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, mats, carts, waste disposal units, and kitchen surfaces.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, then store them properly.
- Package take‑out orders, portion and wrap foods.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim food items.
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; remove kitchen garbage and sharpen knives.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen workspace.
Required profile
- Bondable and able to work in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Team‑player with a positive attitude.
