Kitchen Designer – Residential Interiors

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Designer to join our interior design team in Calgary. The role focuses on creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces for residential clients, from concept through detailed documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate project costs and prepare detailed specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings.
• Advise clients on colour, finish, material, lighting, and furniture selections, considering ergonomic and health standards.
• Develop 3‑D models, plans, elevations, cross‑sections, and detailed drawings of kitchen layouts.
• Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to define product requirements and custom cabinet specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in kitchen or residential interior design.
• College/CEGEP education or equivalent professional experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• 20/20 Design software proficiency.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Word.
