The Durham District School Board is seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join its permanent staff. You will create a vibrant, supportive classroom where young learners thrive and develop a love for learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Kindergarten students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to enhance student learning.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs.

Required profile

• Primary subject qualification.
• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing.
• Full‑time equivalent (FTE) 1.0, assigned to Kindergarten.
• Ability to provide a current criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
