Key Retail Account Manager

About the role

Audio-Technica Canada is looking for a data‑driven, strategic, and detail‑oriented B2B sales professional to manage and grow its key retail accounts. The role combines proactive relationship management with rigorous operational execution, including forecasting, sell‑through analysis, and promotional planning.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with existing accounts, develop business, and strengthen partnerships while identifying new opportunities.
• Achieve assigned revenue targets and maintain profitability measures.
• Create comprehensive customer presentations and data‑backed business proposals.
• Plan and execute promotional schedules, merchandise planning, and in‑store/online display layouts.
• Administer dealer support program credit claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with product management on roadmap planning, pricing, and quantity discussions.
• Provide product training and demonstrations to dealers.
• Support the brand at major industry trade shows.
• Establish and manage retailer and marketplace seller accounts, ensuring compliance.
• Provide cross‑departmental escalation support and partner with Accounting for timely collections.
• Deliver monthly sales forecasts, weekly updates, and demand planning inputs.
• Collect, analyze, and report on sell‑through data, market trends, and sales/inventory insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales and key account management.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data for forecasting and business proposals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product, logistics, and operations teams.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple promotional and operational initiatives.
• Ability to meet revenue targets while maintaining profitability.
