Key Holder – Retail Operations

About the role

As a Key Holder at The Joint Cannabis in Winnipeg, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This part‑time role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast‑paced retail, values operational excellence, and is passionate about cannabis products.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide product knowledge to assist with selections.
• Complete all opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain financial accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Assist with merchandising, promotional displays, and inventory management.
• Support e‑commerce order fulfillment and packaging.
• Uphold company policies, compliance standards, and cannabis product knowledge.
• Represent the brand professionally with a positive attitude and polished appearance.

Required profile

• Retail experience (industry experience is an asset).
• Supervisory experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to delegate, take ownership, and manage time effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Must be 19+, hold a valid Provincial Cannabis Certification, and provide a criminal background check.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and ability to work at multiple locations.
