Key Account Manager, Retail (Pinnacle Division)

About the role

Breakthru Beverage Canada is seeking a Key Account Manager for its Pinnacle Division to drive volume and grow the business portfolio across retail key accounts, including grocery and convenience channels. The role focuses on delivering sales targets, managing promotional spend, and building strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual plans for key accounts to achieve business goals.
• Manage and evaluate promotional spending, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Grow total portfolio by increasing net sales value, market share, and volume.
• Create and maintain a promotional calendar for assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure excellent execution and provide feedback on program effectiveness.
• Prepare account‑specific presentations and deliver quarterly business updates.
• Analyze competitive activities to generate insights and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Prospect and qualify new accounts to expand the brand portfolio.
• Provide product and brand training to sales staff and attend promotional events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–4 years of experience in a similar key account or sales role.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication abilities.
• Sound judgment, problem‑solving skills, and leadership capabilities.
• Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
