Junior Toy Designer

About the role

Join Battat’s product development team in Montreal as a Junior Toy Designer. You will help turn creative concepts into market‑ready toys, working closely with senior designers and cross‑functional teams to ensure brand consistency and high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end toy development from concept through final production, aligning with the Lead Designer’s vision and brand guidelines.
• Create technical design packages, specifications, production artwork, and files using Adobe Illustrator.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and overseas factories to guarantee accurate execution, timely delivery, and quality standards.
• Maintain and update multiple product brands through design refinements, artwork revisions, colorways, and packaging enhancements.
• Prepare presentation materials, production files, and documentation for internal reviews and manufacturing partners.
• Manage product development grids, project trackers, and brand documentation to keep workflows organized.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Designer and Product Design team to ensure consistency and quality at every stage.

Required profile

• Industrial or Graphic Design degree or equivalent.
• Strong ability to work under high‑pressure deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
• Effective written and oral communication in English.
