Junior Site Supervisor – Construction

About the role

Govan Brown is seeking a motivated Junior Site Supervisor to support our commercial interior and core‑&‑shell projects. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience coordinating daily site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering quality work on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior supervisors in managing subcontractor performance, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing Health & Safety guidelines and relevant legislation.
• Interpret plans and specifications to verify that work aligns with project scope.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including the project management team and subcontractors.
• Document daily job history, inspect workmanship, and ensure contractual obligations are met.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and able to follow strict safety and quality standards.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with diverse project teams.
• Interest in building a career in construction management.

Required skills

• Interpretation of construction plans and specifications.
• Application of Health & Safety regulations on site.
