Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the role

EZShop, a fast‑growing e‑commerce agency in Montreal, is looking for a motivated Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR). This entry‑level position offers a pathway into tech sales, allowing you to develop real sales skills while supporting retail clients in scaling their online presence.

Key responsibilities

• Make 80+ outbound cold calls daily to retail businesses.
• Prospect and qualify retailers that match the ideal customer profile.
• Book meetings for the sales team and conduct LinkedIn outreach.
• Maintain activity in HubSpot or other CRM platforms.
• Follow structured outreach and sales processes.
• Learn the e‑commerce ecosystem, including SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, website optimization, Shopify & Lightspeed, and AI‑driven workflows.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Comfortable with high‑volume outreach and performance targets.
• Motivated to build a long‑term career in sales.
• Curious about technology, marketing, and e‑commerce.
• Organized and able to work with CRMs.
• Coachability, competitiveness, and a drive to improve.

Required skills

• HubSpot (or similar CRM) proficiency.
• LinkedIn outreach experience.
• Familiarity with Shopify and Lightspeed platforms.
• Understanding of AI automation and workflow tools.
