Junior .NET & React Developer

About the role

The Junior Developer I will join the Application Development team in Burnaby, working under the guidance of senior developers and the manager to build and maintain software solutions. This is an entry‑level position focused on full‑stack development using .NET Core and React.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior developers and the Application Development manager with software design, coding, and testing.
• Develop user interfaces, reports, and APIs using C#.NET Core, React, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Create and update work package plans, estimate effort, and track progress weekly.
• Perform unit, system and integration testing, and support end‑user testing.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions on data models, technical designs, and code reviews.
• Help resolve operational issues and support deployment of services.

Required profile

• 2+ years of technical diploma in Computer Programming or equivalent (Bachelor’s in Computer Science preferred).
• 0‑1 years of experience in a development role.
• Ability to work collaboratively, ask questions and learn from feedback.

Required skills

• C# and .NET/.NET Core development.
• React, HTML, CSS and JavaScript for front‑end development.
• SQL/RDBMS and data modeling.
• Reporting and web‑service integration.
