Junior IT & Operations Support

About the role

Ratehub is looking for an entry‑level Junior IT & Operations Support professional to join its fast‑moving fintech team in Toronto. You will work closely with the IT/Tech manager and senior IT specialist, providing day‑to‑day technical assistance to employees, brokerage operations, SaaS platforms, and the phone system.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard and offboard employees: set up and deprovision accounts in Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce and other tools; coordinate laptop ordering, configuration and shipping.
• Provide Tier 1 IT support: resolve software issues, password resets, MFA setup, hardware troubleshooting on Windows 11, macOS, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Administer SaaS platforms: manage user provisioning, licence assignments, and conduct periodic audits.
• Support the VoIP phone system: provision extensions, voicemail, basic call settings, and troubleshoot call‑quality issues.
• Assist brokerage teams with CRM and workflow tool problems, escalating vendor issues when needed.
• Contribute to IT projects: help with UAT, documentation, stakeholder communication and compliance tasks.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or help‑desk role.
• Strong interest in expanding beyond traditional help‑desk duties to include SaaS administration and operations support.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
