Junior Help Desk Analyst

About the role

Q Wealth Partners is looking for a Junior Help Desk Analyst to provide first‑line technical support to staff across its headquarters and partner locations in Canada. This full‑time hybrid role combines hands‑on troubleshooting with customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging and resolving help‑desk tickets.
• Installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining hardware and software on Windows and macOS devices.
• Setting up laptops and peripherals for both local and remote offices.
• Supporting MFA, password resets and authentication issues.
• Performing onboarding and off‑boarding tasks.
• Maintaining the internal knowledge base and assisting with office infrastructure projects.
• Providing occasional after‑hours support and traveling to partner offices when needed.

Required profile

• College diploma in Information Systems, Technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑centric mindset.
• Minimum co‑op experience in systems administration or IT support.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, CMDB and asset management tools.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic desktop and general application troubleshooting.
