Junior Field Service Technician

About the role

SECURE is seeking a Junior Field Service Technician to join its Swift Current team. You will provide on‑site technical assistance for hazardous waste collection, testing, and transportation across Saskatchewan and occasional sites in Alberta.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sample, segregate, package and transport hazardous waste from customer sites.
• Perform field tests to identify unknown chemicals and ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.
• Complete safety assessments, document findings and prepare required manifests and paperwork.
• Support emergency response and incident response activities, including after‑hours assistance.
• Record and report data accurately for internal and regulatory purposes.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate able to travel frequently to customer sites.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on extended or weekend hours as needed.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Flexibility for on‑call duties and occasional travel to Alberta.
