Junior Digital Strategist – $55k‑60k

About the role

Search + Gather is looking for a Junior Digital Strategist to join its fast‑growing Toronto team. You will support clients across startups, scale‑ups and enterprises by managing paid‑search and social campaigns, optimizing SEO, and delivering clear performance insights.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, monitor and optimize campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Amazon, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, discussing performance, new ideas and next steps.
• Perform SEO tasks such as keyword research, content creation, on‑page optimization and link‑building to improve organic visibility.
• Extract and analyse data from analytics platforms and CRMs (Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
• Collaborate with Digital Designers to create compelling ad creatives that align with client branding.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in SEM/PPC, paid‑search or social advertising.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, scale‑up environment and manage multiple projects.
