Junior Cyber Security Analyst (SOC)

About the role

Groupe Dynamite is looking for a motivated Junior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join its Blue Team. You will help monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents while supporting the overall security posture of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls and other tools.
• Investigate suspicious activities, perform initial triage and escalation.
• Analyze logs to identify indicators of compromise and anomalous behavior.
• Assist in incident investigation, containment, documentation and post‑incident reviews.
• Track threat intelligence feeds and security advisories.
• Support vulnerability identification, tracking and remediation coordination.
• Maintain and update monitoring rules, alerts, playbooks and SOC procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of IT experience.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, networking and operating systems.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Elastic, Splunk, Sentinel).
• Familiarity with EDR solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
• Knowledge of CSPM/CNAPP tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud, WIZ, Prisma Cloud).
• Understanding of firewalls and network security controls (e.g., CheckPoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Experience with IDS/IPS technologies (e.g., Vectra AI, DarkTrace, ThreatBook).
• Awareness of MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attack techniques.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
