Junior Architect / Architectural Technologist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Architect or experienced Architectural Technologist to support the full lifecycle of construction projects, from concept through completion. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, consultants, clients, and construction teams to deliver high‑quality, code‑compliant, and buildable designs across residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and modular sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, permit packages, and construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and specifications.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil consultants.
• Assist with conceptual design, space planning, and technical problem solving.
• Review building code requirements, zoning regulations, and permit submissions.
• Conduct site reviews, field measurements, and construction inspections.
• Respond to RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals during construction.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and overall coordination.
• Mentor junior drafting or technical staff where applicable.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or a degree in Architecture.
• Relevant industry experience, preferably with exposure to modular, commercial, residential, or industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and detailing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
