Judicial Law Clerk – Remote (Legal AI)

About the role

We are seeking a Judicial Law Clerk to support the development of cutting‑edge legal reasoning systems. The role involves creating realistic litigation scenarios, evaluating AI‑generated outputs, and delivering structured feedback that guides model improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design legally realistic litigation scenarios covering motions, discovery, depositions, briefs, and case strategy.
• Write attorney‑level reference responses that serve as benchmarks for model evaluation.
• Grade model‑generated outputs against structured rubrics and established legal standards.
• Provide written feedback to research teams to enhance model behavior and reasoning quality.
• Participate in onboarding sessions and specialty calibration to ensure consistency across evaluations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in civil litigation at a law firm, government agency, or legal department.
• J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school with active licensure to practice law.
• Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Background in employment litigation, patent litigation, or other litigation niches is a plus.
• Familiarity with e‑discovery tools is advantageous.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $100–$150.
