Journeyperson Electrician – Team Lead (Commercial Construction)

About the role

Wildstone Construction is seeking an experienced Journeyperson Electrician to lead electrical crews on commercial construction projects across Western Canada and the northern territories. The role combines hands‑on installation with supervision, ensuring all work meets code, specifications, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct electrical crews on site, coordinating with mechanical/HVAC teams.
• Manage cable‑tray, Teck cable, and underground conduit installations.
• Oversee installation of switchgear, MCCs, generators, transformers, and containerized equipment.
• Ensure PLC, instrumentation, and control wiring are terminated according to standards.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce regulatory compliance.
• Communicate progress and issues with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician (FSR certified) with experience on ICI sites.
• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code, BC Hydro, Fortis, and ATCO standards.
• Valid driver’s licence; trailer‑towing experience is an asset.
• Willingness to obtain safety certifications (Leadership for Safety Excellence, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, Level 1 First Aid, etc.).
