Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter – Fire Systems

About the role

We are expanding our Fire Services division and need a certified Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to work on commercial and industrial fire protection systems. The role offers a path to leadership within our growing sprinkler division.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems.
• Install, modify, and repair sprinkler piping and components.
• Perform system upgrades, retrofits, and additions.
• Inspect and service fire pumps and hydrant systems.
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls, including after‑hours and weekend work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed inspection, testing, and deficiency reports.
• Maintain tools, equipment, service vehicles, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Required profile

• Certified Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter with at least 1 year of experience.
• Authorized to work in Canada with a valid SIN and driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel, work after hours, and participate in a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and client communication.
