• Interact respectfully with guests and carry out duties in line with Hope Mission's values, policies and Statement of Faith.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of shelter facilities, including common areas, washrooms, offices and sleeping spaces.
• Uphold health, safety and infection-prevention standards to protect guests, staff and volunteers.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate staff.

Required profile

• Janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to work with compassion and professionalism in a shelter environment.
• Understanding of and respect for Hope Mission's Christian mission and values.
• Dependable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks and willing to work flexible shifts.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada on a full-time basis.

To apply, candidates submit a resume and cover letter explaining why they want to work for a Christian organization, including contact details for at least two professional references.
