IT/AV Support Specialist

About the role

The Drake is seeking a hands‑on, service‑oriented IT/AV Support Specialist to maintain and troubleshoot technology across its hotel, restaurant, and event spaces. You will work directly with users, support live events, and ensure that all hospitality‑focused systems run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop support in a Windows/Active Directory environment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain audiovisual equipment for meeting rooms and live events, including audio, video, projection, displays, microphones, and control systems.
• Support hospitality software such as property management systems (PMS), point‑of‑sale (POS) platforms, event booking tools, accounting applications, guest Wi‑Fi, and phone systems.
• Assist with web platforms and other guest‑facing digital services.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business demands.

Required profile

• Service‑minded professional with a strong interest in hospitality technology.
• Curious, collaborative, and eager continuous learner.
• Experience supporting both IT infrastructure and on‑site AV setups.
