IT Technician

About the role

UniTech is seeking an IT Technician to provide on‑site hardware and software support for its expanding customer base across Saskatchewan. The role involves travelling to client locations, diagnosing issues, and ensuring reliable operation of IT equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hardware and software maintenance and support to end users.
• Install, configure and test IT equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain network security standards and monitor for vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems reported by clients.
• Investigate issues, research solutions, and document all support calls and actions taken.
• Manage territory inventory, complete service reports, and oversee parts logistics.

Required profile

• Computer Systems Technology diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
