IT Support Intern

About the role

Join Sony Music Entertainment Canada’s Global Technology team as an IT Support Intern. You will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance, help maintain systems, and ensure a smooth user experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, mobile devices, and printers for end users.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting, including peripheral diagnostics and component upgrades.
• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Assist the Service Desk with tickets related to Microsoft 365, multi‑factor authentication, and password resets.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support asset‑tracking processes.
• Handle secure decommissioning and disposal of legacy devices.
• Contribute to IT documentation, knowledge‑base articles, and user guides.
• Participate in system rollouts, software testing, and automation projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during technology deployments and user onboarding.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently completed a degree/diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong interest in enterprise technology and a desire to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
