IT Specialist, Integration & Automation

About the role

The IT Specialist, Integration & Automation will act as a senior integration resource responsible for designing, developing, supporting and optimizing integration solutions that connect SAP systems with internal and external enterprise applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, architects and external partners to ensure secure, scalable and reliable data flow across the organization’s digital landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise‑grade integrations between SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP) and non‑SAP systems using approved integration platforms and standards.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical integration designs and implementation plans.
• Ensure integration solutions meet performance, reliability, security and compliance requirements.
• Provide operational support, monitoring, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for integration issues.
• Contribute to the evolution of enterprise integration architecture, standards and best practices.
• Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, cloud migrations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Review and validate technical feasibility of solutions documented in Functional Specification Documents.
• Create and maintain Technical Specification Designs summarising SAP integration objects.
• Provide on‑call production support on a rotational schedule, including incident triage and resolution.

Required profile

• Senior‑level integration professional with extensive experience in SAP environments.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering reliable integration solutions.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP platforms.
