IT Project Manager III

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager III to join a leading financial institution in Toronto. The role focuses on driving Agile delivery, removing impediments, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes across multiple banking domains.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate end‑to‑end Agile processes and ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Identify and manage project impediments, working closely with stakeholders to keep delivery on track.
• Maintain a clean, prioritized Product Backlog and enforce Work‑In‑Progress limits.
• Promote continuous improvement, adopt best practices, and coach the team on Agile principles.
• Coordinate cross‑team dependencies and ensure accurate Agile artifacts.
• Align project execution with cost, schedule, scope, and quality objectives while adhering to enterprise governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Agile software delivery teams in a complex, regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and remove blockers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to foster a supportive team culture.
