IT Helpdesk Specialist – Toronto

About the role

We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Specialist to be the backbone of daily technical operations in our Toronto office. You will provide frontline user support, manage network and media setups, and ensure system uptime and security.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and AV equipment (Crestron, MS Teams Rooms, Zoom).
• Provision devices and software for new hires and deliver basic IT training.
• Maintain knowledge‑base resources and guide end‑users.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Deploy servers, allocate resources, and audit SAN storage and server health.
• Support phone system administration (Avaya Cloud/VoIP) and manage the helpdesk ticketing system.
• Execute hands‑on rollouts, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer‑service orientation.

What we offer

• Competitive salary $65,000‑$75,000 plus annual bonus.
