IT Field Service Technician (On‑Call)

About the role

Kelly Services is seeking an IT Field Service Technician to provide on‑call hardware, networking and troubleshooting support for a client. The role involves on‑site installations, repairs and reporting, with assignments scheduled between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Arrive at the client branch at the scheduled time (e.g., 4:00 pm) and unpack equipment.
• Replace existing all‑in‑one desktops with new tiny CPUs and monitors, test functionality and clean up the workspace.
• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, servers, printers and POS systems.
• Perform hardware installations, network troubleshooting and IMAC (install, move, add, change) projects.
• Generate and send ACF and GMR reports to the Command Center.
• Maintain accurate service stock levels and adhere to Service Level Agreements.
• Provide professional communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience with hardware, networking and troubleshooting; in‑field experience is a plus.
• Minimum 6 months of proven customer‑service experience.
• A+ certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and own vehicle.
• Own cell phone, laptop and basic tool kit; willing to travel and stay overnight if required.

What we offer

• Hourly pay $26‑$29 CAD plus 4 % vacation pay.
