About the role

This position involves supervising the MATH 133 examination scheduled for October 19, 2026 at Burnside Hall, McGill University. The invigilator ensures the exam environment is properly prepared, monitors the delivery of the exam, and supports students throughout the session.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the examination room according to specific requirements and verify that all equipment and facilities are functioning.
• Administer the exam materials, documentation, and handle any student issues that arise.
• Ensure students comply with exam regulations and alert the professor when questions occur.
• Collect all exam materials after the session and confirm that nothing is left behind.
• Report back to the professor and ensure proper delivery of completed exams.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with the capacity to listen and assist students efficiently.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain a quiet environment during the exam.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; French is an asset.
