Intune Administrator

About the role

Alto is seeking an Intune Administrator to manage and secure corporate endpoints and Microsoft Teams Rooms across its Toronto and Quebec City offices. This fixed‑term position (two‑year term) supports roughly 600 devices and 100 Teams Rooms in a 100% Microsoft/Entra ID environment, ensuring compliance with Canadian government security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and support Windows 11, Windows 365 Virtual Desktops and iOS devices via Microsoft Intune.
• Execute zero‑touch provisioning using Windows Autopilot.
• Create and deploy compliance policies, configuration profiles and conditional access rules in partnership with the IT Security team.
• Manage Windows Update rings, feature updates and patching activities.
• Package, test and distribute applications through the Intune Company Portal, using tools such as PatchMyPC.
• Administer the Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal and maintain MTR devices across four sites.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for on‑site troubleshooting and next‑day support.
• Monitor endpoint security alerts with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and escalate as needed.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs and user guides.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of IT support or administration experience.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on Microsoft Intune administration.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot, Teams Rooms, and Canadian government security frameworks (e.g., ITSG‑33).
