Internal Audit Manager

About the role

WSP is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead and deliver operational, financial, IT, regulatory and compliance audits. The role partners with project teams and senior leadership to strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit engagements, including risk assessments, control testing and reporting.
• Coordinate with Risk, Legal, Compliance and other control functions to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Prepare audit reports that meet IIA standards and present findings to senior management.
• Identify control weaknesses, recommend mitigating actions and follow up on corrective measures.
• Provide advisory insights to regional leadership, challenge assumptions and influence decisions that improve processes.
• Represent Corporate Internal Audit on project teams, management meetings and with external auditors.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading internal audit engagements in a complex, multi‑national environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess root causes and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated independence, objectivity and sound professional judgment.
