About the role
Huawei Canada's Graphics Technology Lab is seeking an intern researcher to conduct advanced AI and computer graphics research, focusing on VFX and procedural generation, and translate findings into Huawei products.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research and engineering on VFX generation and procedural shape/texture creation.
- Transfer AI/CG research results into real‑world Huawei products.
- Summarize findings in high‑quality papers or patents to provide expert opinions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field, focusing on computer graphics, vision or machine learning.
- Experience with machine learning and deep‑learning techniques (e.g., symbolic regression, DNN, GAN, ViT, diffusion) and dense estimation tasks such as procedural generation, SVBRDF, super‑resolution, inpainting, neural rendering.
