Intermediate Quality Assurance Representative

About the role

The Intermediate Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) is the primary contact for quality matters on assigned customers and products. You will coordinate quality activities across the value stream, ensure compliance with contractual requirements, and drive continuous improvement to support customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase orders and customer contracts for full compliance.
• Develop and maintain Quality Assurance Plans aligned with customer‑defined products.
• Perform quality verification, authorize product release, and issue Certificates of Compliance.
• Act as liaison with customer representatives on all quality‑related issues.
• Plan, execute, and audit First Article Inspections (FAI) and compile related documentation.
• Conduct internal workstation and product audits to verify process effectiveness.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead corrective‑action initiatives and support continuous‑improvement projects.
• Participate in engineering change management, new product introduction, and PPAP activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma.
• Eligibility for membership in CTTAM or APEGMA.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, or auditing.
• Experience in composite manufacturing, electrical/electronics, welding, sheet‑metal, machining, heat treating, or forming is an asset.
