Intermediate Project Manager – Central Intake Program

About the role

The client is looking for an Intermediate Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of the Central Waitlist Management program. This role will coordinate digital integrations, develop clinical workflows, and engage stakeholders across regions to ensure a successful Stage 2 go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex healthcare and digital implementation projects using formal project‑management methodologies.
• Develop and maintain project charters, business cases, schedules, risk and issue logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate integration activities with digital platforms, vendors, regional partners, and Ontario Health teams.
• Gather requirements from clinical leads, design workflows, and support process‑improvement initiatives.
• Track milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines, and prepare executive presentations and briefing notes.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, consensus‑building sessions, and provide secretariat support to steering committees.
• Support organizational change management, communications, adoption, and transition activities.
• Ensure all project documentation aligns with Enterprise Project Management Office standards and complete knowledge‑transfer activities before engagement end.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects with formal methodologies.
• Strong background in process improvement, redesign, or business‑process re‑engineering.
• Experience delivering digital technology implementations and coordinating multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder‑engagement, requirements‑gathering, facilitation, and consensus‑building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, risks, and dependencies in a matrix environment.
• Strong executive communication, reporting, presentation, and technical‑writing abilities.
