Intermediate FX Artist

About the role

As an Intermediate FX Artist at ICON Creative Studio, you will create a variety of visual effects that match the show’s artistic style, working across multiple projects and pipelines while exploring new tools and techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Execute a wide range of visual effects efficiently, adhering to the project’s artistic direction with minimal guidance.
• Navigate and contribute to several projects simultaneously, adapting to different visual demands.
• Research and adopt new tools and techniques, either independently or under senior guidance.
• Troubleshoot setups, manage time effectively, and seek assistance when needed.
• Revise effects based on feedback, minimizing iteration cycles.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of collaborative effects.

Required profile

• Professional experience in animation production using Houdini Mantra.
• Prior FX work experience with a focus on cartoony styles.
• Strong drawing ability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
