Intermediate Financial Analyst – General Expenses

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Intermediate Financial Analyst to join the A220 commercial aircraft program finance team in Mirabel, Quebec. The analyst will act as a key business partner for operational managers, focusing on general expense control, month‑end closing, and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month‑end close process, ensuring accurate journal entries and timely reporting.
• Analyze, monitor, and communicate general expense results, identifying variances against budget.
• Serve as the SAP BPC expert for the team, providing guidance and support.
• Partner with functional areas such as FAL A/B, Pre‑FAL, Paint Shop, and ACJ to drive financial performance.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of general expense accounting and controlling.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across functions.
