Intermediate 2D Artist for Mobile Games

About the role

We are looking for an intermediate 2D Artist to join Clipwire Games, a studio within Tripledot Studios, and help bring our mobile titles to life. You will create a variety of 2D assets for features, events and live‑ops, working both with AI‑generated content and traditional illustration techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Create mid‑complexity 2D assets for in‑game features, events and live‑ops content.
• Use AI art generation tools to produce assets, deciding when to combine AI output with hand‑drawn illustration.
• Refine AI‑generated outputs to production‑ready quality and optimise them for mobile performance.
• Follow established style guides and asset standards with minimal feedback.
• Prepare final assets for implementation, ensuring they meet performance constraints.
• Collaborate with Art Direction, Product and Design teams to align visuals with gameplay and player experience.

Required profile

• Self‑directed intermediate artist comfortable with both AI and traditional illustration workflows.
• Strong judgement on when to use each approach and ability to adapt processes efficiently.
• Proactive communicator who can manage competing demands and build good relationships across teams.
• Passionate about mobile games and able to develop a solid sense of the game’s visual style.

• Proficiency in traditional illustration software and workflows.
