Interior Designer

About the role

Gensler is seeking a passionate Designer to create functional, beautiful interiors for a variety of clients. You will blend creativity, technical expertise, and business insight to develop engaging spaces that reflect client needs and brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team on programming, conceptual, schematic, and design development phases.
• Produce space‑planning layouts and construction documentation.
• Select and present furniture, FF&E, fabrics, color palettes, and lighting solutions.
• Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections for construction.
• Coordinate with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 0‑3 years of post‑graduation interior design experience across varied project types.
• Strong design sensibility and a portfolio showcasing innovative concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Enscape or similar rendering tools.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

What we offer

• Base salary range of $60,000‑$62,000 CAD per year.
