Insurance Account Manager Commercial Lines

About the role

TG Group Inc, a long‑standing brokerage in Owen Sound, is looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join its collaborative commercial lines team. The role focuses on servicing an established portfolio of commercial accounts with a relationship‑driven approach rather than high‑volume transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service a mixed portfolio of commercial accounts, handling new business, endorsements, annual risk reviews and policy re‑marketing as needed.
• Collaborate with producers, brokers, underwriters and carriers to ensure timely renewals, optimal coverage and smooth communication.
• Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers, promptly handling claim reports and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate records in the broker management system (PowerBroker, Applied Epic) and identify new sales opportunities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of commercial insurance experience or underwriting, with strong understanding of small to large commercial risks.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple accounts independently.
• Confident communicator comfortable working with business owners and decision‑makers.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset; familiarity with the Owen Sound area is an asset.
