Instructor – Public International Air Law (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Faculty of Law at McGill University seeks an experienced legal professional to teach the course Public International Air Law in the Fall 2026 term. This position involves delivering lectures, guiding student discussions, and assessing student performance in a bilingual academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver course material covering international airspace law, aviation organizations, and legal responses to aviation terrorism.
• Coordinate with the Student Affairs Office regarding scheduling and any changes to class times.
• Assess student work, provide feedback, and maintain academic records.
• Contribute to the development of course content and stay current with developments in international aviation law.

Required profile

• At minimum, a first degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent).
• Several years of significant practice or professional experience in the relevant area of law.
• Experience teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual (English/French) setting.
