Info Security Analyst II (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Info Security Analyst II to support a leading North American financial institution. The role is based in Toronto and follows a hybrid work model, providing a blend of on‑site collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security reports and dashboards to identify non‑compliant assets.
• Create and follow runbooks for notification, tracking, and escalation of compliance issues.
• Partner with technology teams to devise remediation solutions, track progress, and produce summary reports.
• Provide technical leadership for application security processes, tools, and procedures.
• Research, design, and implement application security solutions and conduct direct testing of security plans.
• Lead evaluations of new security systems and technologies.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of IT audit, technology risk assessment, or cyber‑security experience.
• Clear understanding of the Three Lines of Defence model within risk and control frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and adaptable.

• ServiceNow (Vulnerability Response, Configuration Compliance, query building, dashboard creation).
• Splunk.
• Jira.
• Power BI.
• CrowdStrike.

What we offer

• Starting rate of $42 per hour (CAD).
