Industrial Warehouse Manager

About the role

Wolseley Canada is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead its industrial warehouse operations. You will be responsible for guiding the warehouse team, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers across the branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the warehouse team.
• Hold team members accountable for performance and safety.
• Maintain all safety standards and good housekeeping in the warehouse and shipping areas.
• Coordinate with the branch network to guarantee timely material delivery.
• Liaise with freight carriers and internal/external customers to set shipping priorities.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Knowledge of industrial products is an asset.
• Basic computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Dependable, reliable, and proactive.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
• WHMIS and TDG certifications are advantageous.
