Ice Cream Artisan (Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, high‑energy Artisan to join our new ice‑cream shop, Scooped by Demetres, in downtown Toronto. You will be part of a team that celebrates handcrafted ice‑cream, serves guests in a bright and welcoming environment, and works flexible afternoon, evening, weekend and holiday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm and personable service to every guest.
• Explain the craft behind our ice‑cream flavours and guide guests toward their future favourite.
• Scoop and serve ice‑cream efficiently while maintaining a clean station.
• Assist with light food preparation in the kitchen/café.
• Uphold the brand’s guiding principles while serving guests.
• Work afternoon, evening, weekend and holiday shifts as required.

Required profile

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while multitasking.
• Quick learner who follows directions, keeps the work area clean and stays organized.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Clear, kind communication with guests and colleagues.
• Willingness to embody the company’s guiding principles such as Deliver Wow, Own It, Better Together, Hustle Always and Towards Perfection.
