Hybrid Front-End Developer – Montreal

About the role

We are seeking a Front‑End Developer to join a leading investment bank in Montreal. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while collaborating with an international team of consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards using internal low‑code tools, creating charts and metrics that support business decision‑making.
• Build JavaScript‑based widgets that consume REST APIs to display data.
• Implement data collection and processing using internal ETL tools and SQL scripts.
• Ensure thorough testing of all components in line with the team’s testing strategy.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to define technical solutions and provide mockups when required.
• Provide production support, investigate bugs, and implement fixes.
• Deliver knowledge‑transfer sessions to support the evolution and maintenance of dashboards.
• Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Manage multiple short‑ to medium‑term projects across different business lines.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript web development.
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an international environment.
