Human Resources Business Partner – Bilingual (French & English)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, bilingual Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Montréal‑Trudeau International Airport. In this hands‑on position you will partner with Operations leaders to drive employee engagement, talent development, labor relations and HR compliance in a fast‑paced, unionized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR advisor to Operations leadership on engagement, workforce planning and talent management.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, retention and off‑boarding.
• Support employee and labour relations activities such as investigations, grievances, arbitrations and collective bargaining agreements.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and collective agreements.
• Lead HR initiatives related to engagement, change management and continuous improvement.
• Coach and support managers in effective people management and organisational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a unionized setting.
• Strong background in employee and labour relations.
• Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, retail or multi‑site operations is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Professional HR certification (CHRP/CHRL, SHRM‑SCP, SPHR or equivalent) considered an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Fluent in both French and English.
