HR Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. In this senior position you will act as a trusted advisor to executive and senior‑level leaders, helping shape and deliver the HR agenda that supports the company’s vision and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and coaching to client groups (SVP‑AVP level) on policy, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, compensation, and organizational effectiveness.
• Act as employee advocate, managing escalations and collaborating with Employee Relations and the Standards Centre of Excellence for complex issues.
• Identify people‑related trends across client groups and recommend actions to mitigate risks and capture opportunities.
• Support cyclical HR processes such as talent management and salary administration for assigned groups.
• Lead or contribute to small‑scale HR projects, coordinating with HR teams and business stakeholders.
• Participate in cross‑line HR committees and councils to share best practices and drive initiatives.
• Develop talent plans, diagnose organizational health, and design strategies for recruitment, retention, and capability development.
• Coach senior leaders to enhance managerial capabilities on leadership, team facilitation, and situational training.

Required profile

• 6–9+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Post‑secondary degree or diploma in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus.
• Proven project‑management skills with a business‑partner mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated networking, relationship‑building, problem‑solving, and influencing capabilities.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
