About the role
We are looking for a reliable housekeeper to keep our guest rooms and public areas clean and welcoming at the Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel in Merritt, BC. The role involves daily cleaning tasks, guest service support, and maintaining a tidy environment. The position offers flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; dust furniture and clean windows, walls and ceilings.
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
- Make beds, change sheets and stock the linen closet.
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Handle lost and found items and respond to guest requests for extra supplies.
- Pick up debris, empty trash containers and perform light housekeeping duties.
- Clean changing rooms and showers.
Required profile
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Flexible hours available.
- Youth‑friendly environment offering mentorship, coaching and networking opportunities.
