Hotel Housekeeper

About the role

The Humphry Inn & Suites is seeking a reliable Hotel Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. This part‑time position can evolve into a full‑time role, offering a stable career in the hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and clean surfaces.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds, change sheets and replenish linens.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock the linen closet and manage inventory.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms, elevators and other high‑traffic areas.
• Handle and report lost‑and‑found items.
• Provide basic information about hotel facilities to guests.
• Collect debris, empty trash containers and maintain waste disposal.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as washing windows, walls and ceilings.
• Clean changing rooms and showers.

Required profile

• Experience in housekeeping is an asset but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work day, weekend and on‑call shifts.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
