Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Household Assistance

About the role

The Mohamed Family is seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and household assistance in a private residence. This full‑time, permanent role offers room and board and focuses on supporting individuals with disabilities, including school‑age children.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and toileting, including diaper changes.
• Support regular exercise such as walking and encourage mobility.
• Feed or assist with feeding, plan therapeutic diets, and prepare nutritious meals.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning duties.
• Cook meals and manage kitchen tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow parents’ guidance on toilet training for children.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check and provide references.
• Reliability, punctuality, patience, and strong client focus.
